I’m an expat who has been living in Macau for the last two and a half years. Over this time I have come to know Macau very well, my lack of transportation has forced me to explore nooks and crannies of the town that otherwise would go unnoticed. I want to share my experience with you on what it was like to move to Macau the things I would have known before moving hear and the both pleasant and unpleasant surprises along my journey.
A little background on myself. My hometown is Las Vegas, this is where I went to elementary school all the way through the university. Every job I have worked since I was 15 has been in a casino in the hospitality industry. Moving to Macau appealed to me it came just as I had finished my MBA and was in need of a change.
Over the course of this blog I will cover topics such as how is Macau organised, what does the housing situation look like, what kind of transportation exists in Macau, Holidays, the weather, I’ll definitely cover Hong Kong which is a fantastic weekend escape once you start getting island fever.
If your considering moving to Macau I hope that this blog helps you find your footing, also I am open to questions about living in Macau that you may have.
Will be updating topics shortly!
